I’ve known both these bands a while, Furyon since they were an AOR style band called “Pride”. Furyon have been going great guns in the last 12 months with their album being released on the front of Metal Hammer and in a limited edition, pending an upcoming full release. I wouldn’t call them metal exactly, more “very hard rock” in a souped up Led Zep kind of way. They’re gagging for a good UK support tour and a good record label to get behind them.
The Mercy House I’ve known for a while and in that time, they’ve moved from something leaning towards indie to their current sound with is also just plain heavy. They cranked it up!
The opening band Daken weren’t too shabby either. No photos, sorry. Was busy catching up with friends and folks we shared at table with at their wedding!
