Today was sunny so we took the MRT out to Danshui. Whilst not actually being on the sea, it has all the trapping of seaside-ness including arcades, fried stuff and tat shops. The nearest parallel in the UK I can think of is Southend.
Still, we had a nice 5km ramble up towards the shiny new Fisherman’s Wharf into the sun. Hence some of the pictures here. We ended up at sunset at the wharf to be presented with a bridge full of geeks with cameras. I think a shot of the bridge loaded with geeks is better!
The museum of “fishie goodies” was a nice way to end the walk.
